French prosecutors demand 20-year sentence of ex-husband in Pelicot mass rape case
The prosecution asked on Monday that Dominique Pelicot be given the maximum sentence of 20 years in prison for drugging and raping his then-wife, Gisele Pelicot, and recruiting others to rape her. The prosecutor told the court in Avignon that the prison term was “at the same time too much and too little in view of the seriousness of the acts”.
