Georgian lawmakers elect far-right ruling party loyalist Mikheil Kavelashvili as president
An electoral college dominated by Georgia's ruling Georgian Dream party elected far-right former footballer and fervent critic of the West Mikheil Kavelashvili as the country's new president.
