'Some voters in Bucharest this week said they were struggling to see a good option'
Romanians are casting ballots on Sunday in the first round of a presidential election. George Simion is a far-right candidate who says he is part of a new wave of patriotic politics in Europe. Left-wing Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu is the candidate for the Social Democrats. Other serious contenders include former NATO deputy general secretary Mircea Geoana.
