Taiwan's Olympic boxing champion Lin Yu-ting 'quits event' over gender questioning
Taiwanese Olympic boxing champion Lin Yu-ting pulled out of the World Boxing Cup Finals in Britain on Wednesday, the country's sports chiefs said, saying that the organisers had questioned her gender eligibility. The featherweight was one of two women boxers who were kicked out of last year's world championships after the Russian-led International Boxing Association publicly accused them of being men.
